Macie Schaul

Macie Schaul, 63, of Schaumburg, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026. She was born on May 5, 1962, in Beckley, WV. Macie enjoyed shopping, taking many photos, working on photo projects, and spending quality time with her family, especially her husband and grandchildren. Macie will be remembered for her heart of gold, warmth, generosity, and sense of humor. A beautiful soul who cared deeply about kindness and believed in God. She was a beloved wife of Joseph Schaul, a loving mother of Ruby (Chris) Gonzalez, Jillian (Nate) Chinnici, and Kevin Buentello, and a cherished grandmother of Christopher, Elizabeth, Aiden, and Aubrey. Macie was a dear daughter of the late Dean and Ruby Claussen; a kind sister to Lew, Mike, and the late Dino Claussen; and a fond aunt to Leland, Paige, and Austin Claussen. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a service at 4:30 pm, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 333 S Roselle Rd, Roselle, IL. Following the service, cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
