Lynn Gaffney

Lynn A. Gaffney, 60, of Elgin passed away peacefully December 19, 2018 after battling cancer. Lynn was the beloved mother of Colleen (Marcus) Lyles, Sean, Peter, Michael and the late Christopher Gaffney; proud grandmother of Aiden, Emily, Audrey Lyles and Wyatt Gaffney; cherished daughter of the late Barbara (Peter) Zak and the late Howard Overpack; dear sister of Kevin (Kay) Overpack, Carla Hayes and Amy Burrows; fond aunt of Tom, Matt and Katie Overpack, Nick and Connor Hayes, Bailey, Scout and Kellen Burrows. Lynn had a passion for cooking and baking Christmas cookies. She always enjoyed being a homemaker and took pleasure in caring for her grandchildren.

Memorial visitation Saturday, January 12, 11:00am until the time of memorial service 3:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Road) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Cremation was private at Countryside Crematory.
