Lyle Miller

Lyle D. Miller, 93, of Bartlett and formerly of Schiller Park; cherished husband of the late Ann, to whom he was married to for 64 years; beloved father of Frank, Chris (Jean) and Kathy (Richard) Rushing; dear grandfather of Mark, Matthew, Michael, Kalie, Lauren (fiance Tyler Hines) and Raymond (Emily); in August he was going to be a first time great grandfather; loving brother of Jerry (Shirley) and fond uncle of Toni Dizonno. In addition to his wife, Ann, Lyle was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters and his parents, Donald and Amy. Lyle's love of the outdoors began with his upbringing in Idaho. He worked outdoors as a logger and played outdoors fishing, camping, gardening and golfing. When his family grew he coached his kids' baseball teams and took family vacations around the United States. Camping under the stars emphasized the simplicity and practicality of how he felt life should be lived. Visitation Thursday, June 29th, 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Friday, June 30th, 10:00 am service at the funeral home. Entombment Mount Hope Cemetery.
