Visitation for Luther Linwood Money of Arkdale, Wi, formerly of Streamwood, IL, will be held Sunday, June 2, 2013 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 S. Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Road), Streamwood. Funeral service Monday, June 3, 2013, 10:00 am at Countryside Funeral Home.
Lou passed away peacefully at home Wednesday May 29, 2013 at the age of 69. Born in Blytheville, Ark. on November 20, 1943. Devoted husband and best friend for 47 years to his wife Linda. Loving father to Amy (Sean) Harris, Lisa Money (John Boone) and Luke J. Money. Dear Grandpa to Michael, Mark, Ashley, Madison, Amanda and Johnny. He is survived by his brother Edward (Goldie) Money of Pocohontas, Ark., Charles Wilson (Lynda) of Tampa, Fl and sister Deborah Wilson of Blytheville, Ark. Fond son-in-law of Glee Wacker of Wis.Dells, Wi and friend to brother-in-law Denis Greiff, also of Wis.Dells.
Preceded in death by his loving Mother, Sara Francis Rambo of Blytheville, Ark. and dear Father Luther P. Money of Vineland, NJ.
He leaves behind many nieces and nephews and his latest feline friend “LuLu”. Lou worked at Pioneer Screw/ITW Medalist for 31 years in Elk Grove Village, IL. Lou especially enjoyed fishing with his 3 favorite fishing buddies and bowling on several leagues and Cousins Bowl with the family. He would complain about it but still watch the Cubs, Bears and Brewers.
He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all. Any donations in his name can be sent to the Red Cross for the wonderful work they do.
