Luke Helton

Luke J. Helton, 77, of Streamwood; beloved husband of Toni Ann nee Wollter; loving father of Gregory (Kimberly) and Timothy (Michelle); cherished grandfather of Tyler, Blake, Taylor and Lucas; dear brother of Opaline Ridge, Lloyd Helton and Shirley Helton. Luke was past Commander of American Legion Post 335 River Grove as well as past President of River Grove Lions Club. He was a member of the VFW Post 5151 in Streamwood and worked on the Streamwood Memorial Commission. Luke was a 50 year representative of the Boys Scouts of America also having earned his Eagle Scout Award. Visitation Monday 3:00-9:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Tuesday 10:15 AM to St. Marcelline Church. Mass 11:00 AM. Following services, cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
