Prayers for Louise DeLeonardis nee Kirkland, 93 of the Elk Grove Village area for many years, formerly of Chicago, will be held Saturday 9:15a.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 333 S. Roselle Road Roselle to St. Marcelline Church for mass at 10:00a.m. Interment will be private at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Hilliside.
Visitation will be Friday 3:00 – 9:00p.m. at the funeral home.
Louise was born July 15, 1915 in Kingston Iowa, she died December 21, 2008 in Arlington Heights, living the last year at the Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights.
A Registered Nurse, Louise completed her training at Washington Blvd. Hospital in Chicago in 1936 and spent many years working at Bethesda Hospital in Chicago.
She is the beloved wife of the late Daniel J.; loving mother of Mindy Jones of Roselle; Cherished grandmother of Patrick (Jana) and Danny Jones; Proud great-grandmother of Justin and Hayden Elder; dear sister-in-law of George, Marie and Mary DeLeonardis; fond aunt of Tom (Mary Ann) and Ned (Peggy) Weber and many more nieces and nephews.
