Louise Abell

Louise Elizabeth Abell passed away peacefully in the arms of her parents on Sunday, September 17, 2023 after a short but meaningful time on earth. Louise, known affectionately as Lou Lou, was born on Friday, September 15, 2023 and weighed 5 lbs 8 oz and was 44 cm long.

Louise is the third daughter of Erin and Tom Abell. Like her two older sisters, Lou Lou loved spending cuddly time with her parents and was a bright light to all that knew her. She made the impossible possible by coming into the world and allowing her family to meet her and know her warmth and love. Louise fought her hardest until the very end, and will be remembered for her bravery, strength, sweetness and beautiful spirit. She blew us all away.



Louise is survived by her parents, Erin and Tom, her loving older sisters, Layne and Logan, her puppy, Sterling, her grandparents, Mark and Mary Boncher and Tim and Roberta Abell, and her aunts and uncles, Katherine and Alex Adamic and Erin and Jon Drummer.

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2023 from 4:00pm - 7:00 pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Road (at Stearns Road) Bartlett. Please join us in celebrating the magical life of Louise Abell.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital. All donations made in Louise’s name will be gifted to the Cardiac Care Unit (CCU).
