Louis Turilli

Louis C. Turilli, 78, died suddenly on June 7 th , 2025 in his beloved Wisconsin.

Lou was the eldest son of the late Louis and Osvalda (nee Carmignani) Turilli. He is survived by his beloved son Matthew; lifetime partner Carole Bryan; step-children Victoria, John (Katie), and James; grandchildren Kitty, Elliott, Jackson, and Phoebe. He also leaves behind brothers Larry (Laurie), and James (Rodger); nieces Jaime (Randy) Bill and Stacy (Jeffrey) Runde; grandnieces and nephews Holden, Hadley, Weston, Carmen, and Charlie; and many dear far-flung extended family members and friends.

Lou was a proud Navy veteran who served on the USS Benjamin Stoddert DDG22 from 1968-69. He was instrumental in founding the USS Benjamin Stoddert Reunion Association and for the last twenty years attended annual reunions with shipmates from all years the ship was commissioned. He was a member of the American Legion post 1084 in Roselle, IL.

As his father before him, Lou was a lifelong Chicago White Sox fan. He attended all the World Series games in 2005 and was waiting to do so again.

Visitation Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 10:00am until time of service 11:00am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 405 E. Rush Street, Roselle, IL. Lunch to follow in the Trinity Family Life Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Tunnel to Towers at https://t2t.org/ are appreciated.
