Louis Lucas

Louis F. Lucas, of Schaumburg, formerly of Berwyn, wonderful husband for 56 years of Jerilynn, nee Kohout; dear father of Mark (Jennifer), Sandy (Jeff) Clear and Charisse (Donald) Foy; cherished grandpa of Emily, Faith, Kaitlin and Kristen; beloved brother of the late Charlie (Lois), late John and the late Lucille (late Richard) Bican; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Louis was a proud Army veteran. A valued employee, for 35 years, at UNOCAL. As a child his father taught him how to fix things, so as an adult he tinkered and repaired anything he could get his hands on. Above all, he loved being surrounded by family. Visitation Friday June 9th, 9:00 am until time of mass 10:00 am at St. Marcelline Catholic Church 822 Springinsguth Rd, Schaumburg. Cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory following mass. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to the gift fund of "Louis Franklin Lucas Life Gift" (Http://giftfunds.stjude.org/Llucas) would be appreciated.
