Louis Brestan

Louis W. Brestan, Jr., 81, of Itasca for 52 years, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 2, 2025. An Army Veteran, Lou was known as the funny jokster. He enjoyed photography and especially serving his church at the food pantry. Beloved husband of 58 years to Kum Cha (nee Moon) Brestan; loving father of Rebecca "Becky" Brestan, Jason D. Brestan, and the late Steven L. (Jamie) Brestan; proud Papa of Joseph Brestan, Jacob Brestan, and Lilliana "Lily" Kolb. Visitation Monday, September 8 from 10:00am until time of service 11:00am at Evangel Church 5700 Bartels Rd., Hanover Park, Illinois. Interment Arlington Cemetery, Elmhurst, Illinois.
