Lorraine Rudnik

Lorraine Ruth Rudnik, 94, of Streamwood, died July 4, 2021. Lorraine was the beloved wife of the late John, loving mother of John (Maey Lee), Greg (Linda) and David (Pam); proud grandmother of Hunter (Sally); cherished great grandmother of Reece; dear sister of Donna.

Lorraine was small but tough, a lover of dogs and children, fierce defender of what she believed was right. She loved to travel, but always with others. She was adventuresome, skiing in the Swiss alps when she was 60. She loved to ride a bike, golf, bowl, ski, and was an avid exerciser frequenting the health club daily. A eucharist minister, she enjoyed the social aspects of St. John’s church. She often pushed those close to her to do what she thought was best but respected ones right to go their own way. Most of all, she was a very determined woman.

Visitation July 23, Friday 3:00pm - 5:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 S. Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Road) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Memorial Mass Saturday, 10:00am at St. John the Evangelist Church 502 S. Park Blvd. Streamwood, IL. Inurnment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
