Lorraine M. Clelland (nee Kurtzer), 78, of Schaumburg, passed away peacefully in her home on June 24, 2016. Lorraine, a die-hard Cubs fan, was the beloved mother of Lorraine Marie (Greg) Wells, and Margie (Rob) Schoenbrunn; proud grandmother of Dylan, Nicholas and Alexander; loving sister of the late James (Marie) and the late Robert (Emily) Kurtzer; adored aunt of many.
Lorraine was an avid reader. She loved sci-fi and murder mysteries, her favorite authors were James Patterson and Stephen King. She also liked reading The National Enquirer and Reader's Digest. She enjoyed video poker and going out to dinner with family and friends. Lorraine loved going to the movies. Her favorite movies were Lethal Weapon and Robocop. She attended her grandsons' baseball games when she could. She liked to take them out for ice cream when she watched them.
Visitation Wednesday June 29, 3:00p.m. – 9:00p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Road) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Thursday 9:15a.m. to St. John the Evangelist Church. Mass 10:00a.m. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 525 W.
