Lisa Pryor

Lisa Jo Pryor (nee Bednarke), passed away July 9, 2016 after a 7 ½ year battle with cancer. Lisa was the beloved wife of Rick for 20 years; loving mother of Samantha and Sydney; cherished daughter of Shirley (nee Dyrek) and the late Thomas Bednarke; dear sister of Scott (Karen) and T.J. (Sheila); proud aunt of Kate,
Zachary, Duke, Brooke, Paige and Chayse. She will be missed by Diva, Bandit, Thor and Rocky.

Lisa graduated from Elmhurst College where she played basketball. Basketball remained a big part of Lisa’s life having helped start and run the Burlington Blast Girls Basketball Feeder Program for school district 301 where she coached for 10 years. Prior to that she coached girls’ basketball for the Schaumburg Athletic Association and at Adams Junior High. Lisa enjoyed the outdoors, swimming, biking, golf and spending time with her family and dogs.

Memorial visitation Wednesday 3:00p.m. until the time of memorial service 7:30p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Road (at Stearns Road) Bartlett. Cremation took place privately at Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers donations to Anderson Animal Shelter www.andersonanimalshelter.org would be appreciated.
