Linda Marie Zack passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, wonder, and quiet strength. Raised in Stillman Valley, Illinois, on March 20, 1993, Linda filled every space she entered with kindness, curiosity, compassion, and her infectious laugh.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robbie Erickson; her beloved sister Janet Blaeser (Zack), brother-in-law Andy Blaeser, and adoring nephews Jordan and Brady; her devoted mother, Mickey Zack; and her cherished puppy, Bradley. She is also remembered fondly by extended family and a cherished circle of friends from all corners of her life—those she met at Bradley University, through her work, and along the many paths she traveled.
Linda lived fully, generously, and with heart. She was a dedicated runner, proudly completing marathons, countless half-marathons, and many more miles fueled by determination and joy. She was an avid reader, a passionate baker and cook, and someone who found solace and inspiration in nature. The national parks were her sanctuary, and she made it a mission to visit as many as she could.
She had a sharp wit, a brilliant mind, and a gift for making people feel truly seen. Linda was the type of person who’d show up when it mattered most, offering quiet acts of service that left deep impressions.
To know Linda was to feel loved—genuinely, fiercely, and without condition. Her spirit lives on in the lives she touched, the trails she ran, the books she treasured, and the meals she made with love. Her story continues in every sunrise over a mountain trail, every shared laugh, and every small, kind gesture done in her name.
Services to honor Linda’s life will be held on Saturday, May 10.
Visitation begins at 9:00 AM at Resurrection Catholic Church (30W350 Army Trail Rd, Wayne, IL 60184) with Mass to be said at 10:30 AM.
