Linda Werner, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 15, 2026. She was 70 years old.
Born on Tuesday, March 1, 1955, Linda lived her life with passion and creativity, sharing her talents and love with all who knew her. A resident of Schaumburg, Illinois, Linda dedicated her career to brightening the lives of others as a floral designer. Her artistic flair and dedication to her craft brought joy and beauty to many.
Linda was an avid jewelry maker and cherished her travels to Las Vegas with her husband, Bill Werner, where they enjoyed playing the slots. She also deeply adored her faithful dog, Moose. Her life was a vibrant tapestry of colors, much like the flowers she lovingly arranged and the jewelry she skillfully crafted.
Linda is survived by her devoted husband of 45 years, Bill Werner; her children, Angela (Brian) Ritchie and Kassanda (Tyler Roberts) Werner; and her cherished granddaughters, Ava and Autumn Ritchie and Emily Riley. She is also survived by her loving mother, Joann Felice. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Laurie Riley, her father, Joseph Felice, and her sister, Donna.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 19th, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory of Streamwood, 1640 S. Greenmeadows Blvd. Streamwood, IL.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in Linda’s honor at
Linda's infectious smile, creative spirit, and zest for life will be forever cherished by her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable beauty. Although Linda has entered eternal rest, she continues to give selflessly by bestowing the gift of life through organ donation. She will be profoundly missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.
