Linda Dishroon

Linda S. Dishroon, nee DeMoe, of South Elgin; wife of Charles; mother of Robin (Robert) Fogel, Christina (James) Colborn, Brian (girlfriend Kerri) and Gary; grandmother of Alyssa, Hayden and Andrew (fiance Jessica); daughter of the late Ivan and late Lucille, nee Zierke. Linda was a Larkin High School graduate, class of '67. She was crowned Miss Elgin in 1968, married Charles in 1969. She was a former Indian dancer for Song of Hiawatha, was an avid reader and local historian. Her career covered work with the Village of South Elgin, dispatcher for South Elgin P.D. and Chase Financial for 20+ years. Visitation Friday June 17th 3:00- 9:00pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 95 South Gilbert St. (at State St.) South Elgin, Il. Funeral Saturday June 18th 10:00 am. Interment Lakewood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society or Anderson Animal Shelter would be appreciated.
