Lilly is the beloved wife of Konrad since 1984; loving mother of Harry (the late Susan) Eiler, Heidi (the late Erwin) Ruppenthal and the late Ricky Eiler; step mother of Robert Wessel and Evelyn (Frank) Angelle; cherished grandmother of Lisa (Michael) Sayerstad, Barrie (Sam) Moellering, Brett (Kirby) Eiler, Eric (Caity) Eiler, Alex Ruppenthal, Kurt Ruppenthal, Sean and Jorge Angelle; proud great grandmother of Jason Sayerstad, Anna Sayerstad, Charlie and Stella Moellering, Cameron and Sean Eiler; dear sister of the late Hermann, Erich and Anne.
Lilly was a strong, self-less woman with an unbounding devotion to her family. We take comfort now knowing that she has been reunited with loved ones and in a place even more beautiful than her homeland of Bavaria, Germany.
The family would like to acknowledge the amazing caregivers and nurses at Sunrise of Schaumburg Reminiscence Floor who were a huge part of Lilly's last 15 months. Lilly was treated by them with dignity and compassion and love. We will be forever grateful to them! The family would also like to thank Guardian Hospice for their care of Lilly when it became time for the comfort she so deserved.
