With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and sister, Lidia Maciel Magaña, who passed away peacefully on March 21, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Lidia was born on March 22, 1939, and throughout her life, she embodied strength, love, and dedication to her family. She was the devoted wife of the late Efraín Rodríguez, with whom she built a beautiful and wonderful family rooted in love, resilience, and togetherness.
Lidia is survived by her cherished children: Efraín (Marta), Fernando (Araceli), Daniel (Andrea), Graciela (Moises), Rosa (Alfredo), Carmela (Jorge), and Francisco (Rosa). She was a proud and loving grandmother to 20 grandchildren and great-grandmother to 9 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy.
She was also a beloved sister and is survived by two brothers and three sisters. She was preceded in death by three brothers, whom she now joins in eternal peace.
Lidia was a pillar of strength and her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering faith will remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
A visitation service to honor her life will be held on Monday, March 24th at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory from 3-9pm. The family welcomes all who loved Lidia to join in celebrating her beautiful life.
Lidia’s memory will live on in the stories shared, the traditions upheld, and the love she gave so generously. Though she will be deeply missed, we take comfort in knowing she is reunited with her beloved Efraín and those who passed before her, watching over us with love.

Con gran pesar, anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestra amada madre, abuela, bisabuela, tía y hermana, Lidia Maciel Magaña, quien partió en paz el 21 de marzo de 2025, rodeada del amor de su familia.
Lidia nació el 22 de marzo de 1939 y, a lo largo de su vida, fue un ejemplo de fortaleza, amor y dedicación a su familia. Fue la esposa devota del fallecido Efraín Rodríguez, con quien construyó una hermosa y maravillosa familia basada en el amor, la resiliencia y la unión.
Lidia deja en vida a sus queridos hijos: Efraín (Marta), Fernando (Araceli), Daniel (Andrea), Graciela (Moisés), Rosa (Alfredo), Carmela (Jorge) y Francisco (Rosa). Fue una orgullosa y amorosa abuela de 20 nietos y bisabuela de 9 bisnietos, quienes le dieron una inmensa alegría.
También fue una hermana muy querida y deja en vida a dos hermanos y tres hermanas. La precedieron en la muerte tres hermanos, con quienes ahora se reúne en paz eterna.
Lidia fue un pilar de fortaleza y su bondad, sabiduría y fe inquebrantable permanecerán en los corazones de quienes la conocieron.
Un velorio en su honor se llevará a cabo el lunes 24 de marzo en Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory de 3:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m. Su familia invita a todos aquellos que amaron a Lidia a unirse en la celebración de su hermosa vida.
El recuerdo de Lidia vivirá en las historias compartidas, en las tradiciones que continúen y en el amor que brindó con tanta generosidad.
