Visitation for Libby O’Donnell (DeJohn) will be held on Saturday, October 2nd, 2021 2:00pm until 4:00pm when a memorial service take place at Countryside Funeral Home 950 South Bartlett Rd., Bartlett
Libby was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene O’Donnell. She is the beloved mother of Lisa (Robert) Slanker and William O’Donnell; cherished grandmother of Gregory (Stephanie) Gryzik, Brett Gryzik, and Marisa (Casey) Lanis; great-grandmother of Ava Lanis, Bryson Gryzik, Kendall and Norah Gryzik. loving sister of Vincent DeJohn, the late John DeJohn and the late Nick DeJohn; dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Libby had the unique ability to make friends everywhere she went, be it the mall, Wendy’s or Dominick’s. She had the most contagious smile and shining personality drawing those in around her. Libby’s favorite things to do were spending time with her family, driving around town in her Cadillac with the ILUVLIB license plate, mall-walking, and dancing in the kitchen with the sweet smell of sugo on the stove during Sunday dinners.
Libby will continue to live on in our hearts forever.
