Leslie Leonard Ostness, 63, of Streamwood, IL passed away on August 18, 2025. Les was born on July 13, 1962 in England to his parents Lawrence and Marian Ostness. He is the beloved father of Matthew “Ryan” Ostness; loving son of Lawrence and Marian; cherished brother of Jennifer (Brandon Martens) McGregor; dear uncle of Nicholas and Maxwell McGregor.
For Les, the line between his work and personal life blurred as his love for computers became the central theme of both his career and home. He constantly tinkered with new technologies.
Les generously donated his organs and tissues to help save the lives of others. A private cremation was handled by Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory.
