Leslie G. Olson, of Roselle since 1970, died March 19, 2012 in Bloomingdale. Born January 27, 1932 in Chicago, he was the son of Leslie and Ethel (nee Fuller). A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps having served in the Korean War. Leslie was a member of local pipefitters union #597 .
Beloved husband of 59 years to the late Joan; loving father to Gary (Linda), Chris (Tina), Jeffrey (Darlene), and Leslie “Tad”; proud grandfather of five and great-grandfather of three; fond brother to Richard (Dolette).
Memorial visitation Monday, March 26, 2012 from 11:00a.m. until time of memorial service 1:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 333 S Roselle Rd (1/2 mile south of Irving Park Rd), Roselle. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory. Inurnment for Leslie and Joan will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Donations to the Disabled American Veterans, www.dav.org, would be appreciated.
