Leonel Anguiano Romero loving son to Jesus Romero Hernandez (d) and Maria de los Angeles Anguiano Garcia (d) born in Cotija de la Paz, Michoacan, Mexico. Brother to Jesus, Estella, Angela, Silvia, Carlos, Amanda (d), Yolanda (d) and Rigoberto (d). Loving husband to Carmen (d) for 56 years. He was born in Cotija de la Paz, Michoacan, Mexico. He met his wife when working and living in Mexico City. They were married and started their family. Leo came to the United States in search of an opportunity to provide a better life for his family. Shortly Carmen joined him with Angela and Leo where they lived in Addison, IL. Eddy and Diana came shortly after and completed their family. They raised their children to adulthood in Lombard prior to moving to their home in Bartlett, IL.

Leo owned and operated his own trucking company. He loved boxing and soccer, long drives, playing pool and dominos, grilling, gardening, gathering with friends and spending time with his family. He loved a good joke and always had a witty comment that made everyone laugh. Everyone that met Leo loved him and sought him for his simplistic, but meaningful advice. Leo was always helping others and everyone that met him quickly became family. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
