Leonard Kasper

Leonard J. Kasper, 96, of Streamwood. Beloved husband of the late Josephine; loving dad of Leonard (Linda) and Wayne (Danell); cherished grandpa of Celia, Derek, Jesse, Charisse, LaRin and Melanie; dear son of the late Stanley and Cecilia (nee Cholewska) and brother to 4 late brothers and sisters; fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. Leonard was a proud WWII veteran having served in the Army, 5 months of which he was a POW. A member of VFW 5151 and AmVets 277, Leonard will be missed by many. Visitation 3:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Rd), Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Wednesday 9:15a.m. to St John the Evangelist, Mass 10:00a.m. Interment River Valley Memorial Park.
