Leonard Gargas

Leonard J. Gargas, 89, of West Chicago for over 50 years, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2023. An Army Veteran during the Korean War, Leonard was an avid Chicago Bears fan who enjoyed all Chicago sports as well as golf, bowling, and horse racing. He was a devoted fan of his grandchildren's sporting events. Beloved husband for almost 56 years to Joanne (nee Dallolio; loving father of Gloriane (Terry) Brennan and Alanna (Victor) Ribando; proud grandfather of Chase and Casey Brennan and Michael and Shawna Ribando; preceded in death by a sister and brother, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday, August 3 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 S. Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett. Funeral Friday 9:45am to St. Peter Damian Church.
