Leona Paula Vatch, 87, died Wednesday, December 8, 2010 in Rockford. Born November 7, 1923 in Chicago. She was the daughter of Nicholas and Magdalen Dowgun.
Leona enjoyed many things including bingo and her Cac-a-sacka. She especially enjoyed being with her family.
Survivors include children Nina (John) Crain, Nadine King, Edward (Lois), Earl (Joan), Ernest (Ann) and Eugene (Nancy) Vatch; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edward.
Services are private for the family.
