Leo Rembowski

Leo Rembowski, 94, husband, for 69 years of Arlene, nee Platt; father of Kenneth (Michele) and Donna (Bernard) Schmidt; grandfather of William Lee (Serena) Bornhoff; brother and best friend of Edward and the late Helen, Jeanette, Cornelia and Stanley; many nieces and nephews; son of the late Stanley and Helen, nee Luzny. Leo was married on June 1, 1946. Together, he and his wife traveled all around the world. When they were home they enjoyed golfing together. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and ham radio operator. He was also a proud WWII veteran in the 1053rd as an engineer PC+RGP. Leo felt most comfortable working on the family farms alongside his brother. Visitation Friday 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 S. Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood / Schaumburg. Funeral Saturday 11:00 am. Cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
