A Memorial Visitation for Lee Robert Beauprez, longtime resident of Roselle, will be held Saturday, October 28, 2023 3:00 - 7:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Rd. (1/2 mile south of Irving Park Rd.) Roselle. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory.
Lee is the cherished son of Robert E. and Joan B. Beauprez nee Albin; beloved stepfather of Josh Turner; loving brother of Lynne Beauprez, Kara (Aidan) McAuliffe and Nicole Soneson; dear uncle of Jack and Darren Soneson, Owen and Jillian McAuliffe.
He will also be missed by many cousins, close friends and his feline companion "Jet".
Lee had an infectious curiosity about the natural world, specifically for geology, small animals and insects. His excitement doubled when he could share his artifacts and knowledge with others. After graduating from Lake Park High School in 1977, Lee attended College of DuPage to continue with his love of learning. Lee owned a printing form business and until the present enjoyed his work helping many through his home remodeling business.
Lee generously gave much of his time volunteering for many different organizations throughout his lifetime. He had a deep knowledge of history and science a memory for facts of all types that amazed others.
Lee enjoyed skiing, digging for fossils and crystals, and playing Belgian Rolle Bolle with family and friends. Anyone that knows Lee can attest to his witty joking and teasing as well as his engaging storytelling. He was a friend to most everyone he met.
