It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of N. N. Laxminarsimha Rao. As the patriarch of the family, he was a loving husband, father, and Thatha (grandfather). He was very proud of his granddaughters and always wanted to be surrounded by them. His family in the US and India deeply respected him as an individual. Friends remember him as a kindhearted person who never hesitated to guide and help others.

Rao came to the US 50 years ago and built an amazing life for himself and his family. Rao had a passion for singing and playing the harmonium, and he enjoyed watching and discussing sports (Cubs & Bears), especially with his children and grandchildren. He was proud of our Indian culture and was part of the TAGC & Hindu Temple.

He is survived by his wife, Kawsalya Bai, and children – Jayalaxmi & Pavankumar, Jaya Pradha & Kiran, Jayasree & Satyanarayana, Sujatha, Nagesh & Sona, and his six grandchildren - Preethi, Priya, Nikki, Ashika, Lina & Aniya.
