Laura J. Kroll, 91, of Roselle, died Friday, April 29, 2011. Born April 27, 1920 in Johnston City, IL. She was the daughter of George and Olive (nee Pogue) Edwards. Laura enjoyed many things including reading, quilting and gardening but her true passion was animals and her family.
Survivors include children Dr. Carol Hurley, Michael (Kathleen) and Joanne Peace; grandchildren Jennifer (Kevin) Kirberg, Tamara Bevard, Collin (Kathryn) McClelland, Julia Gaertner, Michael (Chauna) Gaertner, Amber (Chris) Guillotte and Justin Peace; great-grandchildren Nathan, Isabella, Mariana, Jameson, Levi, Tessa, Silas and Asher; step-brother Richard Eugene Kehder and special pet Mimi.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, son Patrick, her parents and sisters Stella Butzek and Hazel Edwards and brother George Edwards.
Visitation Wednesday, May 4, 2010 from 3:00p.m-9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 333 S Roselle Rd(1/2 mile south of Irving Park Rd), Roselle. Funeral Thursday 9:30a.m. going to St. Walter Church, Mass 10:00a.m. Interment St. Michael Cemetery.
