Laura Lee Kretz, of Bartlett, Illinois passed away on January 9th 2023 at her home(surrounded by her family) after a long battle with cancer.
Laura was born in Dubuque, Iowa on August, 13th 1969. Graduated from Dubuque Senior High School in 1988. After that moved to the Chicagoland area where she lived out her life.
Laura will always be remembered for her love of nature, amazing sense of humor and her kind heart. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
Laura is survived by her mother Anne Kretz, her father Larry Kretz, her brother Thomas Kretz and her brother-in-law Richard Holmes. Laura also left behind her dog, Abby whom she adored.
Family and Friends will meet on Saturday the 21st of January at the Alliance Bible Church 430 East Stearns Rd. Bartlett, Illinois 60103. For a memorial service at 10am followed by a luncheon.
We will also be having a Celebration of Laura’s Life in Iowa on the 28th of January at Kalmes’s Restaurant in St. Donatus from 12:00-5:00. With a luncheon buffet around 2:00.
We will have a photo share board at both locations. So if you have a special photo of Laura that you would like to share with us please bring a copy and we’ll post it….we would love to see them.
