Laura Borden

Laura was born in Chicago Illinois on September 25, 1954 to Gertrude Nicosia (Gery) and Harold Hill.

She married the love of her life Terry Borden on October 5, 1974. Together they raised 2 daughters. Laura was a night owl and loved to play poker, video and card games. She was very artistic and loved to paint and crochet. Laura also loved football, no matter who was playing!

Laura was loved by everyone who knew her. She was kind and loved to give advice.

Laura is survived by her devoted husband Terry Borden, daughters Julie Ferguson  and Sarah Mary Borden, grand daughter Leah Ferguson, 2 son-in-laws Jeff Ferguson and Doug Milliron, sister Rita Hill, brother Jim Nicosia, sister Karen Hill, sister-in-law/best friend Norma Craft and many more family and life long friends who love her very much.

We believe Laura was greeted at the gates by her grand daughter Jade Ferguson, her mother Gert Nicosia, grandmother "Ma" Ann Gery, her brother Bruce Hill and her honorary brother Danny Cohn.

Memorial Visitation Friday February 23, 2024 3:00pm until 9:00pm with a service at 7:00pm at The Countryside Funeral Homes and Crematory, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd., Streamwood.  Cremation was private at The Countryside Crematory.  Info www.countrysidefuneralhomes.com or (630)289-8054
