Lanita Hagedorn

Lanita Ann Hagedorn(nee McDonald), 77, formerly of Montgomery, AL, passed away Sunday, June 7. Studying at Auburn University, Lanita obtained her Masters degree in literature and drama and then taught all ages from pre-school through college. An avid reader, Lanita was a nurturing mother affectionately known to her kids' friends as "Mom". Beloved wife of the late Joe Cooper and former wife of Richard Hagedorn; loving mother of Tara(Todd) Sloan, Scott(Tori) Cooper, Rich(Caroline) Hagedorn, and Amber(fiance Vern Fagerberg) Hagedorn; proud grandmother of Hunter, Hannah, Gianna, Vern, Jr., Landon, and Emmett.
