Lakhonesay Nhoybouakong, 72, of Elgin, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022. Born in Laos, Lakhonesay came to the United States in 1981 and was a career machine operator who also enjoyed cooking for everyone as well as gardening. Beloved husband of Chouang (nee Sio); loving father of Latsamy Nhoybouakong, Melinda (Jeffrey Miller) Nhoybouakong, and Jeremy (Vee Thoummavong) Nhoybouakong; proud grandfather of Emmanuel "Manny" Nhoybouakong; fond brother of 7 brothers and sisters; dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.
