Kunjbala Acharya

Kunjbala Harivadan Acharya peacefully left this earth on June 21st, 2021 at the age of 81, predeceased by her husband, Late Harivadan Ratanlal Acharya 18 years 1 day prior. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sibling, and friend. She practiced her faith daily even departing on the Hindu religious day of agiyaras. Immigrating in 1962 from India, she joined her husband in creating a wonderful life for her sons and grandchildren, and in addition played a significant part in helping many others immigrate and support their lives and families creating a foundation for others. She was able to distract her pain from her underlying lifelong illness of lupus by using her hands to create wonderful meals, play with her children and grandchildren, manage real estate properties, her household and work in various jobs over the years. One of her favorite jobs was at Cupid Candies where she enjoyed serving sweets and bringing smiles to children’s faces. She had a special way of connecting with those around her whether she knew them for a short time or life long.

Kunjbala is survived by her sons Neal H. Acharya (Jodi Acharya) and Manish H. Acharya (Vaishali M. Acharya), and her 6 grandchildren: Drew, Dilan, Priyana, Pavan, Prem, and Paras. She is also survived by her siblings, Harshad Vyas (Pramoda Vyas), Meena Acharya (Late. Chirantan Acharya.), Naresh Vyas (Purnima Vyas), and Neeta Rawal (Pradeep Rawal), and her many wonderful nephews and nieces and their children.

Kunjbala is joining her father, Late Champaklal Vyas, and Mother Late Devlaxmi Vyas into eternity.
