Kristeen J. Pell

Kristeen J. Pell, a beloved resident of Schaumburg, IL since 1977, passed away on July 31, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on August 8, 1952, Kristeen's vibrant spirit and unwavering love touched the lives of many.
Kristeen dedicated her career as a bus driver for School District 211, where she was warmly known for her kindness and dedication to the students she safely transported every day. Beyond her work, she was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, often spending lively afternoons cheering on her favorite team. Kristeen cherished her trips, especially her frequent visits to The Mirage in Las Vegas, and leaves countless memories of joyful times spent with friends and family.
Her family was the center of her world. She is survived by her loving daughters, Angela (Andrew) Donaldson and Courtney (Christopher) Karabatsos, who carry forward her legacy of warmth and compassion. Kristeen was a proud Yiayia to Presley, Everly, and Harley. She was also very fond of her grand dogs, Milo, Baxter and Maple. Kristeen was predeceased by her parents, Joseph Held and Angeline (Panagakis-Held) Fiat, and her brother, Peter Held.
While she will be dearly missed, Kristeen's life will be celebrated in a private gathering with her closest family and friends. Those wishing to honor her memory are encouraged to reach out to the family for more information.
