Konrad Knupp

Konrad Joseph “Joe” Knupp, of Glen Ellyn for 29 yrs. Beloved husband of Doris nee Simbro for 67 yrs; loving father of Patricia (Streett) Coale, and Mat (Janet); cherished grandfather of James and Kyle; dear brother of Mary (the late Frank) Smith, Wesley (Helen), and the late David (the late Lola). A WW2 Veteran, 97th Division, Infantry, Joe organized the reunions for the 97th Division Infantry and edited the newsletter. He received a Bronze Star. He was a member of Fox Valley Woodworkers.

Visitation Sunday, December 20, 3:00pm until time of service 7:00pm at Leonard Memorial Funeral Home, 565 Duane St., Glen Ellyn. Graveside services Monday, December 21, 11:30am at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery,20953 W. Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL. Please omit flowers. Information 630-469-0032.
