It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Kimberly A. DeMarco, nee Luebke, who passed away on Saturday, August 8th, 2026, at the age of 56. Born on Friday, July 17th, 1970, in Niles, Illinois, Kim was a cherished resident of Streamwood, Illinois, and left behind a legacy of love, laughter, and learning.

Kim was a devoted wife to Jerry DeMarco, with whom she shared 35 beautiful years filled with joy and companionship. She was a loving mother to her daughters, Kristina (Alex) Sobel, Ashley DeMarco, and Samantha DeMarco, and a doting grandma to her treasured grandsons, Barrett and Cameron Sobel.

As the beloved daughter of William Luebke and a cherished daughter-in-law to Judy DeMarco, Kim was also a dear sister to Christopher (Melissa) Luebke, Lisa (Chris) Melton, Michelle (Dan) Wyatt, Robert Luebke, Karla Pflueger, Angela (Rudy) Rojas, and Jeffrey (Jennifer) Luebke. Her family circle extended with her brother-in-law James (Tera) DeMarco and sister-in-law Jennifer (Francis) Tereza. Kimberly will be fondly remembered by her numerous nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.

In her professional life, Kim dedicated herself to nurturing young minds as a librarian at the District U-46 Independence Early Learning School. Her career also spanned over three decades as a Customer Service Manager at Walmart, where she was known for her kindness and commitment to helping others.

Kim was preceded in death by her mother, Susan Marie Luebke, and her father-in-law, Joseph DeMarco.

Her passions included a love for reading and spending time with a good book and a warm cup of coffee. Kim had an affinity for shopping, particularly for antiques, and enjoyed her frequent trips to Costco. Above all, her greatest joy in life was the time spent with her family, especially her grandsons, who were her pride and joy.
