Kim Ash

Kim M. Ash, nee Raeside, 57, of Bartlett and formerly of Elmwood Park; mom of Nikki (Charlie) Viviano and Christopher (girlfriend Melissa); partner in life, for the past 13 years, of Chris Davis; grandmother of, the soon to be brought into this world, Peyton Viviano; daughter of Jack and Irene Raeside; sister of Kathy (Joe) Menella; aunt of Alex Menella; Kim is also missed dearly by her dogs Wally, Peanut and especially Gizzy. Kim loved, spoiled and supported her children. There were a few things which were very important in her life; trips with Chris to the beaches of Aruba, the Bears, motorcycle rides with Chris, crab legs with melted butter, the Navy (in support of her son Christopher), Mountain Dew, McDonalds and most of all friends and family. She was known to be a little stubborn but she will also be remembered for making the smallest acts of kindness seem so special. Kim made the world a better place and will be missed by many. A celebration of Kim's life will be held Friday, October 9th, 4:00 pm until time of service 8:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Cremation private at the Countryside Crematory.
