Kenneth "Ken" Ray Rutherford, 75, of South Elgin for 40 years died June 5, 2018. Ken was the beloved husband of Barbara Rutherford; loving father of Tammy (Eric) White and stepfather of Rick (Lisa) Stepson; proud grandfather of Joseph, Alex and Aubrey; cherished great grandfather of Kyia and Joy. He will be missed by his faithful companion Pepper. Ken enjoyed riding his bike, walking around the mall, working puzzles and playing with his dog Pepper.
Visitation Saturday, June 9, 10:00am until time of service 12Noon at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 95 S. Gilbert Street (at State Street) South Elgin. Following services cremation will be private at Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers donations to Anderson Animal Shelter www.andersonanimalshelter.org donate would be appreciated.
