Kenneth Riordan

Kenneth Edward Riordan, 78, of Bartlett, died Thursday July 4, 2024. Born September 18, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois. He enjoyed fishing, grilling, and spending time with his grandchildren. Ken loved to laugh and would often play practical jokes on his grandchildren and strangers. Ken spoke multiple languages; Vietnamese, Korean, and sarcasm. He was a family man, and will be greatly missed. Beloved husband of 51 years to the late Diane Riordan. Loving father of Kimberly (Loren) McDowell and Tim (Heather) Riordan and the late Kenny Riordan; cherished grandpa of Kylie Lane, Olivia and Aiden Riordan. Dear son of the late Robert and Margaret Riordan; kind brother of Gerald Riordan, Kevin Riordan and Susan Widen. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd, Bartlett. Following services cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Make A Wish Foundation, www.wish.org , would be appreciated.
