Kenneth Malm, 82, of Wayne, together with Tyra Malm, Kenny helped to raise a beautiful family. He was the proud dad of Kevin, Kimberly (Scott) Simon, Tana (Chip) Baber, Trysta (Colonel Joseph) Wall, Tamara (Scott) Bourret and the late Keith; cherished grandpa of Tank and Tapanga Baber, Tavin, Tenley and Trace Wall, Tyler and Treymore Bourret and he was the dear son of the late Melville and Fern Malm.
Kenny always considered himself to be a horseman and was a valued member of the Wayne-DuPage Hunt for many years. He received his colors in 1980. Ken, along with Tyra and their three daughters, were very involved in Pony Club. His daughters were active members and Ken was a tremendous support, helping them succeed in all their endeavors. Ken served on the board of directors of the Hunt as Pony Club Representative. He spent countless hours helping to maintain the trails and supporting equestrian activities in Wayne at all levles.
Visitation Monday, November 6th, 9:00 am until time of service 11:00 am at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 95 S. Gilbert St. (at Middle St.) South Elgin, IL. Burial will be on Tuesday, November 7th, 12:00 pm CST (1:00 pm EST) at Mount Olive Cemetery in New Carlisle, Indiana. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Wayne Area Conservancy Foundation
