Kenneth William Lasiowski, age 69, of Elgin, Illinois, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2025 at home surrounded by family. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend, Ken was known for his positivity, warmth, and unwavering kindness.

Born on January 6, 1956, Ken lived a full and joyful life centered around the people and passions he loved. He shared a beautiful life with his devoted wife, Diane Lasiowski, and was a proud and loving father to his daughter Ashley Sharp, as well as his daughter Lindsey Lang and her husband Tyler Lang. Proud grandfather to his grandson Oliver Sharp, Also a cat dad to Marty and Bobby Jo

Ken had a deep love for the simple pleasures of life. He found joy in his morning coffee, took pride in caring for his yard, and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Some of his fondest memories were made at spring training games, cheering on his team with the enthusiasm and optimism that defined his spirit.

Ken will be remembered for his ever-positive outlook, generous heart, and the way he brought light into every room he entered. He truly was one of the greatest—kind, steady, and full of life.

His legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty will live on through his family and all who were fortunate to know him.

A celebration of Ken’s life will be Friday June 27, 2025 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm with a funeral service 5:00pm at Countryside Funeral Homes and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Re., Bartlett. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory. Info www.countrysidefuneralhomes.com or (630)289-7575
