Kenneth "Ken" Kurgan

Kenneth L. "Ken" Kurgan, 74, of Schaumburg for 52 years, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family of Monday, July 28, 2025. Ken was a dedicated Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bears fan who enjoyed exercising regularly at The Pavillion in Elk Grove Village. Beloved husband of 52 years to Shirley (nee Halan); loving father of Kimberly (Prashanth) Siddalingaiah; proud grandfather of Ryanne and Kai; dear brother of William Kurgan, Jr.; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; devoted family friend of Ethan and Tyler. Visitation Thursday, July 31 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 S. Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.), Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Friday 9:15am at the funeral home to Holy Archangels Parish at St. Matthew Church 1005 E. Schaumburg Rd., Schaumburg. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
