Ken Knapp, 93, of St. Charles, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2024. A Navy Veteran, Ken was an avid Bears and White Sox fan whom also enjoyed fishing, bowling, and playing cards. Beloved husband of the late Marie (nee Maloney); loving father of Linda (Michael) Villemure, Bonnie (Wes) Kochan, Pamela (Jim) Mason, Stephen Knapp, and Scot Knapp; cherished grandfather of Jennifer (Ross) Franke, Matthew Villemure, Kirsten and Natalie Kochan, Ashley (Matthew) Smith, and Abbie (Brandon) Pribbernow; proud great grandfather of Madison, Jacob, Logan, Samantha, Ella, and Colton; dear brother of the late Donald (the late Catherine) Knapp, the late Marion (Jim) Venetucci, and the late Raymod (the late Rita) Knapp; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday, April 18 from 9:00am until time of prayers 10:30am at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett to St. John the Evangelist Church. Mass 11:30am. Following services cremation private at Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org are appreciated.
