Kenneth Chamness

Kenneth L. Chamness, 74, of Streamwood and formerly of Hanover Park; husband of Jackie, nee Potempa; brother of the late Richard (Karen) Ball; son of the late Louis and Margaret Chamness, nee Knepple; brother in law of Judy Karmalita (Denny Kessel), John (Debbie), Jill Krane and the late Joyce Potempa; uncle of Nanette Piskule, Christopher (Bri) Karmalita, Cathy Ball, Garritt Pearson and Jessica Potempa; great uncle of Alexa (Marcus) McCauley and Tyler Karmalita; great great uncle of Nash McCauley. Ken loved fast things, cars, motorcycles and roller coasters. He also liked to take it easy while fishing, watching sunsets in Florida or hanging out with his Lhasa Apso, the late Harley. Ken was a dedicated employee, working for the same company for 41 years. Ken was a good man and will be truly missed by many. Visitation Saturday, October 16th, 1:00 pm until the time of his service 4:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Diabetes Foundation or the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
