Kay Jackson

Kay L. Jackson (nee Homefeldt), 75, of Elgin, died Saturday, May 10, 2014. Born March 9, 1939 in Elgin. She was the daughter of William and Emeline (nee Rouley) Homfeldt. Kay loved word searches, shopping and was an avid Cubs fan but her true passion was her family. Survivors include children Susan, Timothy, Kelly, Jeremy and Morgan; grandkids Amanda, Sarah, Jessica, Haley, Riana, Alea, Ashlyn, Joe and Sammy; great grandkids Michael, Tyler, Marian, Coralline and one on the way; brothers Bruce and Peter; special pet friend Dora and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Bob, Dean and Morgan. Cremation and arrangements were handled by Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 95 S Gilbert St (at Middle St), South Elgin. Private inurnment at Bluff City.
