Kathleen "Kathy" Tryba, a beloved wife and devoted friend, passed away on Thursday, March 12th, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on Monday, August 7th, 1950, in Chicago, Illinois, Kathy embraced life with a gentle spirit and a warm heart that touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Kathy was the beloved wife of Andrew Tryba, her devoted partner of 55 years. Their extraordinary bond was evident in their shared adventures and constant companionship. Whether they were observing wildlife, playing board games, or donning matching shirts, Kathy and Andrew exemplified a love that truly lasted a lifetime. Their unity was a testament to their unwavering commitment to each other.

A lover of literature, Kathy enjoyed the solace and adventure that books offered. Her love for reading was matched only by her fondness for a good Scotch, best enjoyed in the company of her beloved Andrew. Her joy in the simple pleasures of life was part of what made her so deeply loved.

Visitation for Kathleen Tryba will be held at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 S. Bartlett Rd. Bartlett, IL, on Friday, March 20th, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Entombment will follow at Mt. Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst, IL. Family, friends, and those whose lives were touched by Kathy are invited to gather in remembrance of her beautiful life and the joyful memories she leaves behind.
