Kathleen Ficcardi

Kathleen Cabrini Ficcardi, nee Connelly, 69, of Streamwood and formerly of Chicago; wife of Terry (for the past 29 years); mother of Catherine and John Ficcardi, Adam (Jo Ann) Higdon and Bryan (Heather) Higdon; grandmother of Olivia, Reese and Gunnar; sister of Judy (Jack) Brault, Mary (Mike) Gargaro, Michael (late Candy) Connelly, Colleen Temesvari and Maureen (Dave Kakuris) Connelly and the late Patirck. Daughter of the late Emmett and Louise Connelly, nee Higgins. Kathleen worked as a lunch room monitor for several years at Streamwood High School. She liked traveling around the United States with her husband, Terry. She cheered on the Cubs and enjoyed watching Jeopardy. She loved being a grandma and had a soft spot for any family pet, especially the family dogs, Lucy, Matti and Jackson who join her in heaven. Kathleen will be cremated privately at Countryside Crematory in Bartlett, Il. She will be laid to rest in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery on Thursday, May 13th at 12:00 pm / noon.
