Karen J. Ribando, a devoted mom, grandma, great-grandma, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at her residence in Bartlett, IL. She lived a fulfilled and vibrant life of 87 years surrounded by family and faith.

Born on December 14, 1938, to Joseph and Amanda Nill, Karen was raised with strong family values that guided her throughout her life. With a heart full of devotion, she was a beacon of love and strength to those around her. Karen was a long-standing member of several Bible study groups, fostering lifelong friendships and community bonds through her dedication and profound faith.

Karen was preceded in death by her loving husband, Victor Ribando Sr., her beloved parents, her brother and sister-in-law N.C. (Lenore) Nill, sister Jeanette Miller and most recently by her nephew Mike Nill, brother-in-law Peter Ribando and Son-in-law, Jeffrey Reinholz.

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Reinholz, and her son Victor (Alanna) Ribando Jr. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren Nickolas Caputi, Christopher (Colleen) Caputi, Michael (Melissa) Ribando, and Shawna Ribando, her great-grandson, Hansen Caputi, beloved sister Rosemary, niece Sue Bolton as well as many other nieces and nephews.

Karen's life will be celebrated by her family at Bartlett Cemetery on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 11:00 am. Karen will be remembered for her unwavering faith, dedication to family, and the kindness she extended to everyone she met. Her spirit and love will continue to guide her family and friends in the years to come.
