Karen M. Matson (nee Kubitza) born October 15, 1942, went to the Lord on February 18, 2026. Devoted daughter to the late Hattie and Samuel Kubitza. Devoted wife to the late Ronald Matson. Loving mother to Michael J Matson (Marin) and the late Jim A. Matson. Sister to brothers the late Gary and the late Robert. Devoted "Grandma Karen" to Kylyn, Elyana, Adalyn, Isaac, Mary, Mel, Lucas and Ash. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Member of St. Peter Damian Parish - Eucharistic Minister, Minister of Care and CHRP Sister.
Memorial Visitation Saturday, February 28, 10:00am until time of service 11:15am at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Road (at Stearns Road) Bartlett. Mass will be held, 12Noon at St. Peter Damian Church 131 S. Crest Avenue, Bartlett, IL 60103. Inurnment will take place on Monday March 2, 10:00am at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
